Faculty of Wellbeing and Health Coaching Psychology

The Faculty of Wellbeing and Health Coaching Psychology is a faculty of the ISCP International Centre for Coaching Psychology Research.

As the emerging field of Wellbeing and Health Coaching Psychology becomes established, the Faculty is building a knowledgebase of the relevant theory, research and practice in this branch of psychology and related fields.

A tentative working definition is “Wellbeing and health coaching psychology is the practice of health education within a coaching framework and context underpinned by psychological principles, to enhance the well-being of individuals and to facilitate the achievement of their health-related goals” (adapted Palmer, 2012).

ISCP members and other professionals with an interest in this field can join our ISCP Faculty of Wellbeing and Health Coaching Psychology LinkedIn Group. It currently has over 1900 members.
